Cinnamon is great for your health

Did you know that cinnamon is high in antioxidant activity which has been known as a cure for the common cold, treat diarrhea, and/or any problem on our digestive system.

Recent studies have shown that consuming as little as one-half teaspoon of cinnamon each day may reduce blood sugar, cholesterol, and triglyceride levels by as much as 20% in Type II diabetes patients who are not taking insulin.

My husband has been dealing with high cholesterol for many years. There has been nothing that seems to work except for medication. And that doesn't get the numbers where they should be either. But it does help. Recently we started using organic cinnamon in our coffee everyday. He still adds sugar and milk. I only add a little bit of milk.

So we shall see what happens. Anyone have some ideas or other uses of cinnamon? I would be glad to hear them.
